An Unexpected Pleasant Surprise of Beyond Standing Room Only

It was beyond standing room only Friday night at the 12th Armored Division Memorial Museum to hear Holocaust survivor Max Glauben reflect about the World War II-era atrocities in his native Poland and in Polish and German concentration camps.

His story proved so popular with Abilenes that he added two talks Friday, recounting the depths of the loss of life and stressing the importance of education to prevent such atrocities from occurring again. The rest of the article here

My son came in from Ft. Worth on Friday night. He popped on over to the 12th Museum on Saturday. The workers and volunteers were just reeling from the response to hearing Max Glauben. The museum wasn't expecting such a large turn out. I hope Mr. Max Glauben wasn't tuckered out from giving 3 presentations.
