We prayed for rain. Softball Sized Hail Thrown in for Good Measure.

Rain with extra something special in it.

Softball sized hail in our yard. I wasn't going to run across street to get a bigger one either.
One car has a few good sized dents. We won't know the full extent of the damage until this storm passes by completely.

I don't blame you for not running across the street~Looks like one of those things could knock you out.
I'm hoping your ok and that it has stopped now. With out much damage.

@Stopsign - It has stopped. For hard as it came down, I am very surprised the cars don't have more dents and dings in them. The outdoor light fixture bulbs were broken. That is easy to replace. We cleaned up the glass all ready. We will need to have our roof checked as precaution. The neighbors we checked with are ok. So far, 3 neighbors will have to have their windshields replaced. I just feel we were so blessed the damage was minimal.

@Oide - I think my ducking and weaving days are gone by now.

Kelly - Thanks.

When we heard the weather report, my hubby mentioned that cars were going to be dented by that huge hail. Hope all is OK.
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I saw your beautiful artwork on your other blog. Just lovely.

Deano and Lady - The cars are dented. The neighborhood roofs are totaled. The neighbors and I are waiting for our insurance adjusters. We found one dead bird.

I guess the bird didn't know how to "duck" and weave. Good thing none of the windows were busted. Good motion capture with the camera on the first photo.
