B-24 Song

I had no idea what today's Veteran's Week Post was going to be. I was looking though some footage of the B-24's and B-17's when I came across this video called the B-24 Song.  I love the song.

Supi,

Far out stuff! The underlying melody, of course, is The Tennessee Stud. A noble melody and noble words about noble men and a noble aircraft.

Of course, you know that the B-24 was really just the packing crate that B-17s used to come in?

..din't you?

Teresa - Gotta love a vet.

Stopsign - It's a catchy tune.

Odie - It is fun.

TWP - My dad loved flying the B-17's compared to his flying the B-24. Unfortunately, his B24 crashed.

Supi,

I am afraid to infer what happened regarding your dad and his B-24. If it is as I fear, then my condolences. Know this: your dad and mine are in the O club up there having a beer talking about B-24's, B-17's, B-25's, P-51's, and P-38's.

Here's to them and to their keeping this country (and the world) free.

Happy Veteran's day, ma'mam!

TWP - He lived through the crash. He spent a few years at Valley Forge Hospital getting fixed up. I know he is up in the O club in the sky having a beer.
