Grackles

It is that time of year again when the migratory grackles arrives in our city for the winter. They are confused. It is south. Go south! Further South!

I like the grackles that stay all year here. But when the grackles in-laws arrived, it is unbelievable how much noise they can make! I think this video pretty much covers how Austin feels about their grackles.

After looking at the video I am blessed that we do not have Grackles! We have other things most irritating here but not those!

Teresa - I am hoping our neighborhood hawk that dines on doves and blue jays keeps them away.

Keads - Texas A & M School of Vet. must be giving UT birds fertility pills. Octo birds!

Odie - Glad you had a good belly laugh and brought back some memories.

Stopsign - Glad you like my sense of humor.

That was really funny! Let's hope the grackles take the Dems with them and fly south for the winter.

Opus - A flock of grackles were in our ash trees last night. I am finding where shoppers were complaining about bird dooky on their cars from parking under trees and wanted something done about the birds, didn't consider where the birds would go. Instead of having bird dooky only when shopping has now led to some homeowners now having lumpy white "splots" on their cars daily. It is easy to avoid dooky at the mall, don't park under a tree.

Supi, these people probably claim to be environmentalists, too. Just that they kill or relocate all the animals they ever run into.
