She is feeling good today. She is being super playful and running every where. After she runs, she comes into the house and sticks her "hot paws" into her water bowl to cool off. It makes a mess for us to clean up. We hadn't cleaned up one of her water bowl messes in a couple of years now. So for today, she was once again a year old dog.

Awwwwww, she's beautiful, Supi. What a sweetie pie. I'm happy she had a fun romp and acted like a puppy! Thanks for posting.
Supi,
..for me, it's Alice, a mixed breed, greyhound-something work-a-like and perpetual puppy (she's DY 13) who is insanely jealous of Mrs War Planner.
Your friend is terrific and it is absolutely fabulous when they get playful again. They truly are great friends, ain't they?.
Thanks Bunni. I definitely enjoyed watching her being young for a day.
TWP - Yes, dogs are terrific friends. Alice sounds like a great joy.
When my husband retired, he started walking her every morning. I warned him this wasn't a good idea to do this every morning with her since he has MS. No matter how much he hurts and can barely get around, she is dragging him out the door, every morning.
Dearest Supi,
Bless your husband and you. (I am tearing up here.) The walks are probably the best thing in the world for both of them spiritually.
There's a reason God put dogs on earth,I am sure of it.

Water bowl days are good days. I see many dogs in our area that look just like her.
What a good looking friend!
Odie - Yes water bowl days are good days. Dachshunds and Shelties are the popular dogs in my neighborhood.
Kelly - Thank you. She is a sweetheart.
I wonder what she's thinking? Lovely pic.
